What can be we find in common between Nimrod Fortress and Incas? I think that it is - mystery. Visitors of ancients sites all over the world ask themselves the same questions: who, How and Why have brought on mountaintops these huge stones were these huge stones brought to/put on the mountain tops?
These stones are megaliths. The word "megalithic" describes structures made of such large stones, utilizing an interlocking system without the use of mortar or cement which are built one on the other without the use of / without using mortar or cement, as well as representing periods of prehistory characterized by such constructions. The word "megalith" comes from the Ancient Greek "μέγας" (megas) meaning "great" and "λίθος" (lithos) meaning "stone."
In periods of prehistory megaliths were used for the building of Temples such as at Gozo (Malta) or like multi meaning purpose structures such as in Peru. We don't know what is it they are and more than that/furthermore:, we aren't enable to advance our ideology to believe for (?) a life before the beginning of current civilization. I am believing to wrap our heads around the possibility and belief in a life before the beginning of our current civilization.
Inca's oral traditions speak about “those who came before”. And the facts speak about that “those who came before” not only South America. These could refer either to previous human civilization, or to visitors from universe.
There are common characteristics to these megaliths in different places. This is a huge rock here in Israel. It is from the Nimrod Fortress (Ramat ha-Golan):
This megalith is from Peru:
They are similar, aren't it they?
Leatter, in current civilization, people have began to settle on the ruins of this earlier civilization, that which apparently was lost due for same natural phenomena or destroyed by “those who came before". Nimrod Fortress, may be, one of such places.
As pictured here, in this type of
construction , megaliths were used for the “new” building. We know that this
wall with the small stones, was built in the Arabic period and perhaps the
Crusader era. But the large stones were obviously in place already at the time
and were simple used as local building materials.
Further examples : we know that during
the period of the Second Temple there
was a settlement at Nimrod. The construction here is similar to the building
materials of the period. But the question remains: if a fortress was needed at
that time, would they have used stonemasons to create the building materials
that we see here?
In these pictures it's possible to see in these pictures the using use of huge stones as a part of building's structures in different periods of the Nimrod Fortress's history.
