I believe in fate. I believe in my fate to meet the people and the places, that are right for me. I have found The "Chalet Nimrod Castle" accidentally and was surprised from by my willingness to pay a lot of money for an overnight to stay here. Usually my husband and I settle for a cheaper place... Apparently, I had to learn about this place and get to know the family's project of Guy and Lilah Ashtar Guy and Lilah Aahtar's family project. I say am talking about the "Green People" - a community of the people that who have an idea to set up an ecological village in the settlement Nimrod in Ramat ha-Golan. More than that. It was
not simple to choose: to stay in the center of the country with
medical, psychological and rehabilitation services for Tomer,
or to leave for a friendlier place without much professional help and... to set
it up themselves.
What are is here today?
There are ten wooden cabins.
They were built by Guy and Lilah with an approach to an "eco-climate
concept": the cabins face south saving energy for
heating. They function saving energy and water: there is
no TV, or internet, computer, chandeliers, or a microwave. There is a water
system which heats up by the fireplace which also heats the cabin -
a saving of electricity and gas. Water from the hot tub is used
for watering the gardens and fields.
Guy and Lilah have used for their building only natural and recycled materials. have used only natural and recycled materials for their building.

One of the key principles of this place is LOVE.
Gay and Lilah don't stop with their having new ideas! Currently they are in the process of advanced planning of "Tomer's farm". This is not only an ecological village, but Underground Building too. Many of its operators will be adults with disabilities who have difficulty in the labor market.
